Join Our Waitlist

This is the first step in our process. We require a screening form be filled out and accepted to join our waitlist. We will discuss in greater detail what your preferences are in a puppy, what your lifestyle is like, etc. Once you are on our waitlist, you will receive litter announcements and availability before the public. I typically do not take deposits until puppies are born. Once puppies are born, both parties sign the contract and the buyer places a deposit! This secures a puppy in the litter for you. We do not do "pick of litter" or in order of deposits. Temperament testing is done at 7 weeks old, at which point we will match you with a puppy, and we do our very best to get your color and gender preference. We want to ensure each puppy is perfectly matched to its family, with no surprises.

Whelping/Raising Puppies

Our puppies are all raised in our home. We are not set up for kennel space, and we like to have our momma's and their pups close by where we have a constant eye on them. All our puppies are raised following puppy culture ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), as well as ESI (Early Scent Introduction), and rule of 7's. This is started at only 3 days of age. We are very hands on, ensuring all our puppies are being properly socialized with age appropriate stimulation. At about 3 weeks we start introducing gruel, slowly weaning onto solids. At this time they're also being introduced to bath time, many new toys and textures, more sounds, potty training, and bi-weekly nail trims. Working up to expanding their play area, introducing a kennel, outdoor time, water, bumpers, you name it! We never stop working with our pups. At 7 weeks old temperament testing is completed; at which time we will be very busy pairing puppies to trainers and new families! At 8 weeks old they will get their first vet exam, vaccines, and prevention. We like to keep them for a couple days to monitor them, but they are ready to go after this!

What is ENS?
ENS stands for Early Neurological Stimulation. This is something that is done from days 3-16, and is a crucial step in raising puppies! This is only done once daily with weight checks, as we do not want to overstimulate puppies.
-
Tactile Stimulation: gently touching and massaging puppies body; between the toes, in the ears, checking teeth, petting back to front.
-
Body/Head Positioning: holding the puppy upright, inverted, and laterally.
-
Thermal Stimulation: exposing puppy to different temperatures; warm or cool floors or rags.
-
Sounds: introducing sounds such as loud banging, music, clapping, bells, whistles, etc. But this is not something we do right next to the puppies, we start very gently and work our way closer as time goes on.

Benefits of ENS
There are many benefits to starting puppies with ENS! It enhances their mental and physical development, increased ability to cope with stress, increased immune system function, improve cardiovascular performance, disease resistance, and stronger adrenal function.
